Hey everyone!
I’m thrilled to share some amazing news with you. Last Saturday, on the 28th of September, Ismaa hosted an incredible championship to celebrate our Goju Ryu Karate and its dojos. A whopping 15 dojos affiliated to Ismaa, led by our Chief instructor Shihan Arnold De Beer, brought together 120 students ranging from 5 years old to over 35 years old. This epic competition united all our affiliated dojos from Gauteng, Potchefstroom, Durban, and Krugersdorp.
The tournament was an absolute blast, thanks to the well-organized event and the support of numerous qualified referees. A huge congratulations to the referees and table officials who dedicated their time to make the event a massive success! Special thanks to Sensei Roberta, who served as Ismaa’s Chief referee for the day and also holds the prestigious titles of Chief referee for Gauteng Karate Federation and UFAK International referee for Karate South Africa.
Our very own 4Ways Dojo totally rocked the championship, bringing home a whole bunch of well-deserved medals. But the best part? Our students had an absolute blast and enjoyed every moment of the event.
And let’s not forget to thank all the wonderful parents who showed their support for the championship. With such an amazing turnout, we’re already looking forward to an even bigger and better event in the future!
