Since 1999, Goju Ryu Karate has been offered at the American International School of JHB, a milestone achieved when I decided to transition to a professional role. Currently, I operate a karate club serving the Fourways, Sandton, and Bryanston areas, including Redhill School, St Stithians College, Pinnacle College, Fourways Gardens Estate, and our headquarters Dojo located at 23 Flamingo Avenue in Fourways. Additionally, we have a satellite karate club in Noordwyk, Midrand, Bedfordview, and the Westrand region.
The growth in demand for karate lessons has allowed my team to expand. My sister, Roberta Biagioni, my sons, Silvio Biagioni, Alessandro Biagioni and enthusiastic instructors, Brenden Tsita, are now full-time professional karate instructors, strengthening our support network.
With over 20 years of professional teaching experience and more than 40 years in karate, I am a certified and accredited instructor recognized by Karate South Africa, the International Shorei Martial Arts Academy, and SASCOC.
Our operation is professional and transparent, maintaining direct communication with parents while ensuring that our activities do not disrupt the daily functions of the schools we collaborate with. We consistently fulfil our rental obligations to these institutions on a monthly or term basis. Our primary focus remains on delivering karate education with the best interests of our students at heart.
